Defination of Myanmar Hot Air Ballooning

Myanmar Hot Air Ballooning is Myanmar Number One Hot Air Balloon Online Reservation System (BORS) Website which always support for all ballooning destinations and services of Myanmar. The website is owned or managed by Peace House Travel & Event Management Intl'Co.,Ltd registered under Myanmar Tourism Marketing (MTM) in Myanmar. Our company has been operated tour programs since 1995. From 2014 to 2017, ran as just mailing booking system. (Myanmar Hot Air Ballooning) started to run dynamically as Balloon Online Reservation System (BORS) at the first week of 2018 Janauary. We supported booking list to manage for each user, track booking to manage for each guest or user and forum to post your experience of riding balloons.

Scope of Myanmar Hot Air Ballooning

In all pages of website except about and services of each ballooning operator, 'we','our' and 'us' mean Myanmar Hot Air Ballooning. 'You' and 'Your' mean guests or users. 'They' mean ballooning operators. Guest means the user who booked through our website without registration for our customer account or Myanmar Air Ballooning Account. User means the user who had been already registered on our website. As for about pages and services of each ballooning operator, 'we','our','us' mean the ballooning operators, Balloon Over Bagan, Oriental Ballooning and Golden Eagle Ballooning etc...

Users & Guests Booking Terms

There are two types of booking to book through our website. They are

  1. Guest Booking
  2. User Booking

Guest Booking - If you would like to make booking without registration to open myanmar balloon account, it will be easy to book and you can track your booking. However, you will not access my booking list to manage or cancel all you booked. Live Chat will not be supported. You may contact only via official email.

User Booking (we recommend) - User Booking means the booking which you booked after signing in with your myanmar balloon account or connecting your social accounts like Facebook and Google Plus. Live Chat on your booking list page will be supported during office hours (UTC+06:30) Yangon (Rangoon) / Myanmar (Burma)

Ballooning Terms

  1. Receipts, payment vouchers or flight tickets are to be produced on arrival at the launch site.

  2. Passengers should wear long-sleeved shirts and long trousers or skirts, preferably made from natural fibres.

  3. Any medical condition such as epilepsy, recent surgery or other condition which can affect your ability to fly or assist the crew must be disclosed to ORIENTAL BALLOONING at the time of booking, and to the pilot on the day of your flight. Pregnant women will not be allowed on flights. ORIENTAL BALLOONING will not be liable for illness or injury due to any undisclosed condition or failure to comply with any reasonable instruction given by the pilot, crew or company representatives.

  4. Any passenger with a body weight in excess of 125kg/280lbs, or any passenger requiring the space of 2 passengers in the balloon basket, is required to pay a 100% surcharge of the ticket price. Failure to provide accurate information in advance may lead to the refusal of flight at the launch site, whereby no refund will be offered.

  5. Children under the age of 8 years are not permitted to fly with ORIENTAL BALLOONING. Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and only if the child is over 4’6” or 137cm in height.

  6. As the pilot is legally responsible for the safety of all passengers at all times connected with the flight, he or she has the right to refuse passengers for whatsoever reason as to not endanger the flight or other passengers.

  7. Full attention must be paid by passengers to the safety briefing given before the launch of the balloon, and questions should be put to pilot if the briefing is not understood or unclear.

  8. The decision of the pilot of the day is final on all matters, and he or she has full authority over passengers and crew who are to fully comply with his or her instructions or orders.

  9. ORIENTAL BALLOONING expects passengers to give full co-operation and assistance if needed to the pilot and crew in any situation that is deemed reasonable, during pre- and post-flight activities.

  10. ORIENTAL BALLOONING reserves the right to cancel or delay flights, and change rendezvous and launch sites at short notice, to achieve safe and successful flights. The company is not liable for any ensuing loss or inconvenience.

  11. ORIENTAL BALLOONING carries third party and passenger liability for all its balloons.

  12. ORIENTAL BALLOONING accepts no liability for claims arising as a result of an act or default of any other passenger or bystander.

  13. ORIENTAL BALLOONING accepts no liability for loss or damage to persons or property other than that which results from negligence on its own part.

  14. ORIENTAL BALLOONING will not accept liability for loss or damage to personal effects taken on flights.


  16. At all times, do not walk between the trucks or tractors and the balloon

  17. During the inflation of the balloons, remain in the passenger reception area until called to your balloon by your pilot.

  18. Before landing, stow all cameras, videos, binoculars etc. DO NOT HANG ANYTHING AROUND YOUR NECK.

  19. Face backwards to the direction of travel, and hold tightly on to the rope handles inside the basket

  20. If seats are provided, sit down on the seats. If not, bend your knees (as if skiing), but do not sit on the floor

  21. Lean back against the basket padding

  22. Stay in this position until invited to stand upright again.

Booking Process & Terms

If you booked ballooning tickets through our website, you will have to follow the below steps.

  1. You will wait on about hours for your booking when your booking status list on waiting list.
  2. Your booking will reach at the awaiting payment list when our sale department had approved your booking.
  3. You will have to pay for grand amount of your booking at 2C2P as soon as you found on which your booking is awaiting payment list.
  4. Then, Our sale department send confirmation E-letter for your paid booking. Your booking reaches at the completed on list.
  5. When your requested booking is unavailable, our sale department will process from waiting list to unavailable list and then send your email to the next options you would like to book for ballooning.
  6. You are unable to cancel your booking directly through our website. But you may cancel your booking to call or email to our sale department. After you had cancelled once, your booking will be reached at cancel list of your booking.

Booking ID is automatically generated from Myanmar Hot Air Ballooning (BORS website). They are 8 digits only in which include numbers and small aphabet or capital aphabet. You have to save or remmember as confidential information of your booking. Although your booking has completed, you would have a confirmation e-letter to download on your booking list from Myanmar Hot Air Ballooning. It is a guarantee of your booking. Ballooning tickets will send your email only before two weeks of your ballooning date. You may complain at any time when you didn't recieve e-tickets before two weeks of ballooning date although you have a confirmation e-letter.

Payment Terms

What is our payment gateway system? We use 2C2P Payment Gateway. You may learn more at the link. Grandamount of your booking includes your payment transaction fees and taxes. Most Acceptable payments are Visa and Master. You can learn more acceptable credit cards at 2C2P.
